Special events like weddings, Mother’s Day, and graduations… Awards celebrations, tournaments, and recitals to close out the school year… Last minute meetings, projects at the house, and if we’re lucky, a quick lunch with girlfriends here and there before the summer begins… It seems like we are running every which way, and often times late at that. And dressing for the day can become an after thought in the midst of all the chaos if we aren’t careful. That is where staple pieces that can easily elevate your look become so very helpful! You guys know we love a good button-up shirt! A striped one adds some pattern and color to your look as well! There are so many ways to style a cute button-up shirt. Here, we are showing it with some black cutoff shorts. You can also pair a top like this with jeans/white jeans, jean skirt, a colored pair of shorts (think hot pink, red, orange), white shorts or pants…. The list really is endless, which is why having this piece is so helpful when dressing quickly.

Again, another one of our favorites we talk about A LOT… A good midi dress offers endless possibilities for fabulous, quick looks for this time of year. We styled it here with a jean jacket, which is also a wardrobe staple for spring and summer. It’s literally the perfect layering piece that you can literally grab and layer over just about any look in your closet for the season.

This is one that gets SO overlooked. But ladies, having a go-to, quality white tee shirt in your spring and summer closet is really so helpful. A white tee shirt can create countless 30 second outfits because you can pair it with almost anything… Whether that be simple bottoms, or colorful ones! But one of our favorite go-to suggestions for a super chic but quick and easy look is jeans and a white tee shirt. Keep it simple and then have some fun with your accessories! Here, we went the route of neutral accessories (but wow does that bag make a gorgeous statement?!)… But this canvas is obviously also perfect for splashes of color!
