Katie | Items I’m Ditching
Low shaft booties… Definitely toss them! Opt instead for a sleeker bootie that fits more above the ankle bone this season!
Skinny jeans… I just can’t do it anymore! I’ve definitely let go of all of the ones I had in my closet.

I’m keeping a classic statement blazer for sure. This type of piece is a staple for now + years to come! You can wear it with jeans, dresses, skirts, pants, etc. There are so many fun styling options for a gorgeous piece like this one!
A black knit dress is a staple in my closet and a piece I wear multiple times throughout the year! I pair it with sneakers in the summer and sometimes layer light jackets over it if the weather is a bit cooler. And in the winter, I dress it up with heels or boots and throw blazers or sweaters over it to change up the look!

It’s time to say goodbye to the round toe basic flats… And to replace them with a pair that’s a little sleeker and more interesting. Opt for a Mary Jane, slingback with pointed toe, kitten heel, loafer, or a ballet flat with bow detail.
If you haven’t already gotten rid of those overly distressed jeans with the blown out knees, the time is now. Opt for a denim with a raw hem instead. Our teenage girls may disagree, but even they are opting for jeans with less and less distressing.
Katey | Items I’m Keeping
Keep the statement blouse! It’s no secret I’m a blouse gal through and through, and this season the ones with the feminine embellishments are front and center. I also love a satin blouse for a stepped up casual look with a dark or black denim.
Striped Embroidered Collar Blouse
Keep the leather! For me, it’s a leather skirt – but hang on to those leather pants too – as we’re seeing more and more fabulous pieces in rich fall colors.
Dana | Items I’m Ditching
Ditch the lug sole loafer and opt for one with a sleeker, slim lined silhouette.
While the shacket IS still in style, the plaid version has had its moment. Keep your shacket in a neutral, solid color so it stays a versatile piece you can mix and match.
Dana | Items I’m Keeping
You won’t catch me in anything other than wide leg denim this fall/winter. This is a trend that is still going strong.
A long trench should remain a closet staple. This coat looks good thrown over pretty much anything. It even elevates your athleisure style!
