Fun, Unexpected Ways to Wear Sneakers

We have been talking about sneakers for over a year now, and the options just keep getting better and better! Several of the brands we knew and loved in {many} years past (think Tretorn, Converse, Vans…) are making a comeback with both new looks and nods to looks from the 80’s and 90’s. We have also seen a rise in popularity in high-end sneakers. Brands like Golden Goose and John’s. These brands are formulated for fashion AND functionality (especially those European brands that are made for lots of walking). And then of course, almost every brand of shoe we love (think Dolce Vita, Toms, Sam Edelman…) are also now making FABULOUS and FUN sneakers!

Unexpected Ways to Wear Sneakers

Jenny ordered these fabulous – and comfortable – metallic fringe sneakers recently, taking advantage of one of those quarantine online sales going on right now. These beauties go with just about anything in your closet and are definitely the investment piece in this look! Jenny is pairing them with this pretty-in-pink wrap top, denim shorts, and a fun animal print headband for a bit of pattern. Note that pairing one high end item in your look with other reasonably priced looks gives the impression of a high end look overall. This holds true for all three looks that Jenny has put together!
