Patch12 Jackets…Creating Customized Statement Jackets
Hey gang! Katie Rushton here. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! As I sit here catching up on some late night emails, I can’t help but think about how wonderful it was to take a few days off to spend with my family. I’ve also been thinking a lot about all of the things I have to be thankful for this year! A few days off is always so refreshing and good for my soul.
Supporting Small Local Businesses
This year has been especially hard for so many people. And yet, it’s also been so wonderful in so many ways. As a small business owner, this year has been trying to say the least. However, I am truly a glass half full kind of person. I can’t even express to you all how wonderful it’s been to have so many of you reach out to us during those months of shut down. Some just to check in. Some to buy a gift certificate just to support us. Others just to say they were signing up for our newsletter to support us. It all matters gang! And I/we are so grateful for each and every one of you that have checked in. And we’re also grateful for those of you that just follow along with us via our newsletters and social channels!
Because of the way the year has played out and the hit that small businesses have taken, it is so incredibly important this year to shop small and support your local small businesses. And because we work with so many, we wanted to make sure and share some of our absolute favorites with you all in case you are looking for some great small businesses to support! Today, we wanted to share a dedicated post on one of our favorite unique small businesses here in the Nashville area, Patch12 Jackets.
Patch12 Jackets
Our Nashville Stylist, Emily Goodin, crossed paths with Mary Elizabeth Oropeza of Patch12 Jackets a couple of years ago, and she has been a go-to for our team since then for various projects and client statement pieces. Mary Elizabeth and Patch12 Jackets is most know for the embroidered statement jackets and customized bridal denim jackets that she creates for her customers. Jackets and totes can be created for someone’s individual style. And she also does quite a bit of customized jackets for brides and their entire wedding parties.
Mary Elizabeth has an Etsy shop (find it here) where you can browse her inventory of jackets that she has already created, but you can also reach out to her directly if you have something in mind that you would like to create. We absolutely love the uniqueness of her business! And our clients that we’ve worked with to create custom jackets have loved the process of creating something unique for themselves.
Creating Customized Statement Jackets
We love to help clients create their jackets. But it’s also so fun for them to get in on the process. Below are a few pics from the design phase of some of Emily’s clients custom jackets.
Emily has also pulled some of Mary Elizabeth’s fun jackets for photo shoots. How gorgeous is the below from an album cover shoot that she did with artist Alex Bosworth!?!

Patch12 Jackets for Kids
In working with Patch12 Jackets, I found out recently that she also does kids jackets! And you guys….the ones I’ve seen are so dang cute! We even worked together to create one for my little girl, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much she LOVES it! Below are a few snaps of her fun little denim jacket.
Circling back to the holidays and supporting small businesses. If you are on the hunt for something fun for a little girl or little boy, reach out to Mary Elizabeth! These customized jackets for the littles are the perfect holiday gift!
