Backpack for the Win!

Hey gang! Katie (Rushton) here. If you follow us on Instagram, you may have noticed over the last several months that I have a slight obsession with backpacks right now. I think it’s partly due to the season of life I’m currently in (mom of three year old always on the go…anyone?). However, it could also be that I’ve just really gotten to a point where I know what I like and what I don’t like. Most of what I do like revolves around fashion somewhat but mostly function. And let’s be honest, backpacks are the perfect option when you are looking for a bag with good functionality.

I was kind of on a mission last summer to find a good backpack. I found one I loved, but that one ended up being too small for what I needed. Then I found another good option, and I’ve liked that one pretty well. But I recently discovered one that I am absolutely loving right now! It’s from a company called American Shield, and it honestly meets my expectations for both function and fashion!

American Shield’s Granite 25 Backpack has a classic look to it, but the design detail gives it just a little something extra to set it apart from just your everyday backpack. I was immediately drawn to the black + brown color option. However, I love that it also comes in a couple of other great neutral options. The olive color may be my second favorite color option, but I honestly like all four. What do you guys think?
