As many of you that shop at Cool Springs Galleria know, the mall has been going through some renovations for several months now. One of the biggest parts of the mall’s renovations has been the complete remodel of Belk.
Belk has given me a “behind the scenes” look, if you will, of this process, and I wanted to share it with all of you. Over the next couple of months, I will be sharing blog posts about the remodel, the Grand Reopening Ceremony and events that they will be having in October as well as firsthand details of the many special events and sales that are coming up. I love for my clients and readers to be the first to know about what’s going on in our local shopping scene!
With that said, here is a little recap of what’s been going on with the remodel along with some updates of where things stand now. The remodel kicked off earlier this year. The first phase was the March opening of the Belk Men’s & Kids’ store, which was relocated to the bottom level of the former Sears. Moving the men’s & kids’ to their own brand new space has opened up some room in the main store for the home store to move back in there, but it’s also elevated the look and shopping experience in both the men’s and kids’ departments.
Since then, the main store has been transformed section by section with the shoe department being the last part of the store to be renovated. Part of the shoe department remodel is done. The remainder should be completed in September.
In today’s post, I wanted to share some pictures of the new women’s department.
Crown & Ivy
Crown & Ivy is a Belk exclusive brand that I love. Each season, this great brand puts out some great colors and prints in dresses, pants and tops. They also usually have some good basics that can be used to mix and match with the colorful prints for that particular season.
Belk Denim Shop
The new denim shop showcases denim from top labels 7 For All Mankind, Joe’s and Miss Me. You can also find great brands Cloth & Stone (which makes my absolute favorite chambray shirt), Jack by BB Dakota and Sanctuary in this section.
Free People
Belk’s Free People shop is the only of it’s kind in the Middle Tennessee area. The wide selection of Free People clothing is so fun to get lost in! An added bonus to having the larger Free People shop is that they are also now carrying Free People shoes.
Karen Kane
Belk at Cool Springs Galleria is the only place you can find Karen Kane’s line in Williamson County, and with the remodel, they now have a Karen Kane shop, which means a wider variety of styles and sizes of Karen’s line will be available each season.
Lilly Pulitzer
Lilly Pulitzer is another stand out brand that you can only find at Belk if you are shopping in Williamson County. The Lilly Pulitzer line has always been a hit at Belk, and the good news for Lilly customers is that the new Lilly shop at Belk also has more options and inventory to choose from.
Check back later in the week for part two of our remodel update, which will include pictures and updates from some of your favorite cosmetic brands and handbag brands!
This post is sponsored by Belk but all opinions are my own.
