Blazers and Jeans

Camel Blazer and Jeans Look

Today we are chatting about one of our most favorite topics – BLAZERS! But not just blazers – specifically, blazers and jeans! A year round fan favorite, blazers are no longer just for the professional world. Blazers and jeans can be worn casually with a graphic tee and sneakers, with heels and a fabulous statement earrings for date night, or really, anything in between! Let’s take a look at a few of our stylists’ blazer looks for some fun blazer outfit inspiration.

Blazers and Jeans Outfit

Don’t be afraid to dress your blazer down – you most likely made an investment when you purchased it, so get creative and maximize your number of wears! We love this corduroy blazer in camel on Katie. Paired with a graphic tee, black denim, fun earrings, and either sneakers or flats, this is a fabulous casual look for running errands or lunch with your girlfriends.

Black Blazer and Distressed Denim Look

We love how Katie is cleverly mixing casual and dressy in this look! She is wearing a black blazer over a casual grey tee and distressed denim and tops off the look with some beautiful slingback heels. This concept is so fun for a casual dinner out with girlfriends or your honey!

Camel Blazer and Jeans Look

Where to start with Katey’s look?!? We love her camel blazer (more on JCrew’s Regent blazer below) paired with a black and white striped turtleneck, animal print belt, and dark flare denim. This subtle mixing of patterns and textures is spot on. And of course we all know Katey can rock the arm party, but more on that in an upcoming blog post! Flare jeans are everywhere right now – long or cropped, they are so incredibly flattering…. and fabulous paired with a blazer. In cooler weather, complete your look with booties – or if you want to take it up a notch, put on some pumps and call it a win!

Yes, you can wear flats with your blazer! In fact, that is one of our most favorite ways to wear ours! Katey shows us how to style this look perfectly here. She adds color and texture to her all black denim and blazer look with a beautiful pair of animal print flats and some fabulous tassel statement earrings. But you don’t have to go monochromatic for this look – throw on your black blazer, white tee, and favorite denim and flats, and you are put together and ready for the day!
