Casual Summer Dresses…Under $50
Times are tough right now in so many ways. Our days are full of uncertainty of what is going to happen next, and we for the most part (sadly) won’t be needing a bunch of occasion pieces in the coming months. And most of us are trying to watch our spending a bit more carefully right now…. BUT that doesn’t mean we don’t want to have a couple of fun new things for summer, are we right ladies? Enter the casual summer dresses…a summertime staple that is perfect for looking and feeling put together in the hot summer months. Number Five – This Leith brand dress is one of our favorite basic dresses to recommend to clients. It is SO flattering for all body shapes and sizes. We first fell in love with their long sleeve dresses for the fall and winter and then later discovered their tank dress. This tank dress is a wonderful basic for your summer wardrobe and comes in tons of great color choices – add interest with your shoes and accessories! Number Four – This is a fabulous brand of maxis we found on Amazon…. There are so many colorful prints to choose from. Don’t forget to repurpose your maxis in the Fall with a denim jacket! Retail price on this fun dress is $24.99.
Number Three – Target has released a tiered dress that is a knock off the J. Crew tiered maxi we all love so much. We have seen it in the store – it is well made and cute as can be! We are featuring the yellow here, but it also comes in white and light pink, as well as several fun patterns for summer. Retail price on this dress is $29.99.
Number Two – Love Stitch maxis are a go-to for us each and every summer. They can be found from time to time at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack (the best price). If you don’t have luck there, you can always purchase directly from them on their website! Nordstrom Rack has a great basic black one in stock right now. This dress features side pockets and spaghetti straps…. A bra-let peeking out from under the straps is so pretty. We love to side knot the dress to create an asymmetrical hem for a different look too! Retail price on this great summer basic is $29.97.
Number One – This spaghetti strap midi dress is SO cute and has been a fan favorite in recent months with our clients. The button detailing adds extra flair to this simple and classic dress, and we love the pockets too! The red is a bright, cherry red that is just perfect for a summer tan, but the dress also comes in other fun colors like olive green and light blue, as well as several fun florals, stripes, and summery patterns!
