For those of us of a certain age, Birkenstocks have been a household name for as long as we can remember. And in recent years, Birkenstocks have become the trendy “it” shoe among all age groups again! That said, the word “Birkenstock” doesn’t necessarily refer to just the original brown sandal anymore. They have released SO many good silhouettes in fabulous colors and materials, including some dressier versions. And that is what we are going to talk about today! Many of us might think of Birkenstocks as an extremely casual, almost Bohemian sandal. And now that they have introduced the rubber version of the Arizona, we probably also associate it with a pool or lake shoe as well. But ladies, we are here to tell you that some of the new Birkenstocks are SO pretty and a good bit dressier than the traditional brown suede Birkenstock sandal! Now, we can buy Birkenstocks in chic colors like ivory, rose gold, black, and pale pink…. Soft suedes, polished leather, and even patent leather… Not to mention pairs with gold and silver buckles as well. These newer silhouettes and styles can be worn with many different kinds of looks, just like any other traditional sandal! And all of this is very exciting, because what’s not to love about one of the most comfortable sandals on the market also being stylish?!
