Tall boots, like so many iconic fashion staples, have ebbed and flowed through the style scene for decades. That said, they are always a classic option no matter what! Flat, heeled, leather, suede, rain…. We love them all. There are a few basic pointers to think about, however, when styling your tall boots:
If pairing your tall boots with pants, make sure they are on the fitted side to eliminate any bulk around the lip of the boot. Don’t wear pants that have to stuffed into your boots, like trousers or joggers.
Tall boots can tend to draw attention to the bottom half of your outfit, so wear something on top that brings attention upwards. That could be a chunky sweater, blazer, or fur coat… Or a top in a bold pattern or color… Or even a scarf!
When you pair your tall boots with a dress or skirt, make sure the hem of your dress isn’t getting caught up in the top of your boot.
