“I can’t pull off wide leg pants” is something we hear from clients often… Especially if they aren’t on the tall side. But we are here to tell you ladies… We can all pull off this trend. In fact, there is a good style option out there this season for every age, shape, height, size, and style preference!
Let’s recap some of the tips and tricks we talked about in our wide leg jeans post that apply to wide leg pants as well. A wide leg pant hem can vary in width… You can purchase a pair with just the slightest of flares…. Or you can go for an ultra wide hemline… Or anything in between! Your body type and height, the shoe you will wear, and of course, your personal style preference will all play into which wide leg pant is right for you… And beyond that, how to style it.
One of our favorite tips on styling wide leg pants is to pair them with something that is more fitted on top (i.e. a fitted blouse, a tucked in tee shirt, or a bodysuit). Pairing wide leg bottoms with something more fitted on top creates a more balanced and polished look. A shorter top or cropped top can also be a good option if the wide leg jeans are high waisted!
