Shopping for a tropical vacation is SO fun! The colors and prints are bright and happy… The accessories are so cute and incorporate so many fun textures and silhouettes… And of course, we have to talk about swimwear, whether we are ready or not hah! There are so many fabulous things to choose from in stores and online, so we have selected some of our favorites for you guys to take a look at. Some of these pieces are our tried and true resort wear staples that we pull year over year… And some of the pieces are trendy, have fun patterns, and make statements! Let’s take a look at dresses first.

Not many of us are too excited about thinking about getting into a swimsuit at the moment, but ladies, we cannot avoid it much longer! This first one is a tried and true Amazon favorite of ours! It comes in over a dozen colors and is under $40. Super high quality and a great silhouette!
Shirred Halter Ruched One Piece
The JCrew swim line is consistently high quality, affordable, and of course fabulous. One of our stylists snapped up this ruffled v-neck one piece in the hot pink colorway for a recent beach trip and absolutely loved it! It also comes in white, navy, and black if you are looking for something a little more neutral, as well as a gorgeous lemon sorbet for a fun pop of color!

Boden is another go-to of ours for swimwear… We are IN LOVE with this smocked bandeau suit. You can never go wrong with a black swimsuit. It’s classic and chic… And goes with ALL the cover-ups and accessories! This suit also comes in magenta and two fun prints if you prefer some color. SO good!

Shoes That Are Perfect For A Beach Vacation
Here is where we are going to get a little practical… We find that when packing for a trip, the shoes can tend to become the most complicated part of the process! And that is because we want to bring all.the.things… And ladies, there just IS NOT ROOM. Which is precisely why we are showing you three extremely versatile, neutral shoes that go with everything. That way, you can let the clothes, swimsuits, and cover ups do the talking!
A comfortable, but stylish pair of flip flops is of course important for a tropical getaway. This is one of our favorite brands that fits that bill. They also come in black, rose gold, and white!
We put these metallic sandals in our Spring Capsule and continue to be obsessed with them. It is hard to describe how beautiful they are in person… And because they are made with significant padding in the sole, they are so comfortable! Of course, this pair of sandals would be a great option for a resort trip. They are extremely versatile! They can be dressed up or down, and gold goes with everything!
And these fabulous heeled sandals were also in our Spring Capsule… Again, an extremely versatile pair of shoes. Though this sandal is heeled, it isn’t a super high heel, so it’s very “doable” for those of us that don’t love high heels. And of course, the neutral colorway of this shoe can be paired with anything in your suitcase!
