Nashville Stylist Tips For Men: What To Wear For A Business Travel Day
Today, we are chatting about what to wear for business travel. When traveling for work, it is pretty common to land at your destination and hit the ground running to your first meeting or event. And this can cause some challenges when it comes to figuring out what to wear on the plane.
If you are heading straight to a big meeting with a client, it is important to prevent wrinkles wherever possible. Consider a wrinkle resistant shirt for sure. Pants that are made from a fabric with some stretch in them are also helpful in minimizing wrinkles from travel. Wrinkle resistant dress shirts have been on the scene for a while, but luckily, we are seeing more and more dress pants in these types of fabrics as well. Don’t forget your sport coat. It is always best to be prepared with one when traveling for work. You never know when you might need it (even if you thought you wouldn’t).

What To Wear On The Golf Course With Coworkers
If you are lucky, you might be heading straight from the airport to the golf course. This is really probably the easiest and most comfortable look to travel in… But perhaps a little tricker to figure out what to wear. Playing golf with coworkers or clients can sometimes be a different vibe than playing with friends. We like the idea of a dressier golf shirt and pants for this type of “meeting”. For traveling, throw on a pair of dressy sneakers with your golf attire; you can change your shoes when you get to the course. And don’t forget your hat so you don’t sunburn!

What To Wear For Drinks With Clients
If you are flying in the evening before your meetings to enjoy some cocktails with clients or coworkers, it is best to be dressed and ready to head to the bar. That way, all you have to do is drop your bags in your hotel room, spend a minute freshening up, and head out. We love the idea of a patterned button-up shirt paired with some five pocket pants. Our clients have really been enjoying this particular style by Peter Millar. They come in about half a dozen colorways, so you can get creative if you like! If it’s chilly, grab a lightweight bomber to layer over. Sidenote – we are loving these grey suede penny loafers by Allen Edmonds!
