A fedora is a classic piece for summer (well and late spring and early fall too honestly)! This one by Banana Republic fits the bill across the board. Admittedly, it is regularly $58 and on sale for $40, so technically at regular price, it’s a bit over our $50 mark, but we had to show it because it is one of our tried and true favorites! Love visors but want an elevated look? We love the look of straw visors! This one from Madewell is pretty and only $49…. And bonus is that it is packable!
Nordstrom has several lines of hats that typically sit right around the $50 mark. This black and white ribbon hat by San Diego Hat is SO fun and is $48…. A great way to make a statement AND protect your face from the sun. It also comes in a pretty navy and white option!
Sometimes you just need a big floppy hat, especially for those long, lazy days in the sun at the beach. Furtalk on Amazon has a fabulous line of sun hats that are SPF protected AND good looking. This floppy straw sunhat protects the face, chest and shoulders from the sun and makes a fabulous statement doing it…. And is only $25.99!

We can’t talk ‘favorite summer accessories’ without mentioning sunglasses! We love expensive sunglasses as much as the next gal, but you truly don’t have to spend a ton to get good sunglasses! Nordstrom is a treasure trove of fabulous sunglasses under $50, and it is so easy to search their site by price so you can quickly find something you love. We love this pair by Lilly Pulitzer. We are showing the tortoise color way, but this particular pair also comes in a super fun pink to green ombre and a beautiful gold. A lot of bang for your buck for $48!
Target is one of our favorite places to buy sunglasses. Cheaply priced, but well-made and stylistically on point, Target has a strong sunglasses game. We could have shown a dozen pair of sunglasses here, but how about these aviators by Wild Fable for $15?? Yes please….fabulous!
Nordstrom Rack is SO fun to peruse for sunglasses. You can walk into that store or pop on their website on any given day and find countless designer sunglasses options for an absolute fraction of the original price, like this black pair of Diane von Furstenberg oversized beauties for just $39.97!
And last but certainly not least, Amazon for the win! How fun are these oversized square sunglasses from Amazon?? A stylist tried and true fave and only $12.99! We happen to love (and own) the champagne pair, but they also have this fabulous tortoise (in the mail as we speak!), black, red, and a fun speckled grey option!

How about repurposing a bag you already have in your closet with a fun new strap? Bag straps are a huge trend for summer, and for good reason! We all need a pretty tote bag to lug around all the things for the beach and pool – towels, sunscreen, goggles, wallet….. Love this line from Amazon – $18.99 for a fabulous beach bag? Yes please! There are several fun color ways and stripes to choose from – love this navy and white subtle pattern paired with the straw for a fun two toned look.
We cannot talk about summer bags without mentioning Scout. Designed to be carried to the beach, pool, and back again, these bags are meant for exposure to sand and water. You can even rinse them out with the hose and set them out to dry in the sun! Love this tote bag with a zipper for carrying all of our things for here, there, and yonder….$44 and Prime delivery!

Y’all know we love our Budha Girl all weather bracelets, but we also know that those are a bit of an investment. As a great alternative, jelly bracelets are everywhere right now!!! How about this fun glitter filled jelly bracelet stack for $9.95?
A fun way to jazz up a simple denim and t-shirt look is with statement earrings. With the addition of some substantial colorful earrings, you elevate a fairly casual look instantly! Target is of course dangerous when it comes to earrings. It’s SO easy to just grab a pair every time we are there – the prices are SO low, and the options are SO good! Love this beaded pair in blush for everything summer for $9.99 – also comes in black, citrus yellow, coral red, and teal…. How do you choose?!?!

We are loving the trend of headbands right now…. Another great way to take a pretty basic look in your summer uniform and spice it up! Anthropologie is one of our favorite places to shop for headbands – they have countless options that sit between the $18 and $50 range! This pink and red (one of our favorite color combos for summer right now) floral headband is pleasing and cheerful. Style your hair and then pop a headband in for a totally different look – or don’t and just sport the messy topknot with your fun hair jewelry.
J. Crew has a line of “bow scrunchies” that are a fun way to elevate your half or full pony tail look for only $15. We get more compliments when we wear ours out and about! A super simple way to add a bit of hair flair and look a bit more put together (when in reality, no time was spent on hair hah!).
Don’t forget about your favorite scarf as a hair accessory. Wear it like a headband, tied around your pony tail, or as a head wrap if it is windy. This silk one from J. Crew is $49.50 and simply stunning!
