I love Free People’s Amelia slouchy jean jacket. It is oversized, but also cropped with a distressed hem, making it super fun and a bit edgy. There are so many ways to enjoy this jacket – because it is somewhat cropped, it seamlessly layers over most any look.  For the fall, I love a good denim jacket with black jeans. I tend to store my black jeans away for summer, and I am so excited to pull them back out in September. Pair your denim jacket and black jeans with a fun graphic tank and sneakers. Of course, who doesn’t love a pair of Golden Goose?!? But, if you aren’t excited about spending that amount of money on a pair of sneakers, Dolce Vita consistently has on point sneaker options. I love both of these mid-top sneaker options! They each have a fun mix of colors, patterns, and sparkle to them!

Chore jackets are all the rage this fall, and I am here for it! A good chore jacket is a great jean jacket alternative that fits more like a flannel shirt or blazer… It looks great tied around your waist, or even belted over a dress. Speaking of dresses, I love this striped midi t-shirt dress ~ a great piece that will stay in your closet for years to come. Add in some simple good hoops, a super fun clutch bag (that oh by the way is actually large enough to hold all of your very important things), and a slide sandal, and you are casually fabulous. This oversized long jean jacket is not only fall perfection, but it also sits at a great price point! It comes in black or traditional blue denim – I love both color ways! Another fall staple in my book is a good pair of faux leather leggings. I always recommend Spanx to my clients. They are SO flattering, and though they are a bit of an investment, they don’t lose their shape and stretch and will last in your closet for years. Pair your leggings and jacket with a fun graphic t-shirt…. I particularly love the versatility of this one because it’s great for tucking into a jean OR wearing out as a tunic over leggings. ABLE is a great go-to for denim jackets…. And shoes, and basics, and jewelry…. But I digress. I absolutely love ABLE’s version of the oversized denim jacket. The Merly is a tried and true piece vetted by many clients! I am pairing it with these showstopper animal print chinos. They can easily be dressed down with sneakers and a t-shirt, but their tuxedo stripe also lends itself to a dressier look with a heel or mule – like this beautiful bone croc pair (ABLE for the win again). Y’all know I love a good white blouse, so pull your favorite one out, pop that collar, roll those sleeves up over the jacket, and either tie the front or do a front tuck!
