Quarantine Chronicles with our Murfreesboro Stylist Jenny Grubb

Since we are in quarantine at home with our families, we thought it would be fun to share a little with you guys and fill you in on what we are all doing, how things are going and what are days are looking like. We are kicking off our ‘Quarantine Chronicles’ series this week with our Murfreesboro Stylist, Jenny Grubb!

What are some of the silver linings for you in all of this?

This past year has been crazy busy for me (very exciting things!) which I am thankful for, but I thrive when I am home doing motherly and wife things! I have truly enjoyed the slower pace and getting to spend more time with my husband, daughter, and doodle Sadie. My husband has not worked in the same county as we live in for 9 years – I have missed lunches with him! A couple nights ago when I was out on a bike ride by myself, I just remember the sounds and sights of families taking in this time together and enjoying each other. I hope our kids remember it just like that.

What is your “Quarantine Uniform?”

My daily uniform has not been too exciting!  I have worn a plethora of Kentucky t-shirts…. It is after all still technically college basketball tournament time, and I am sure my team would have won #9! Also, sweatshirts with my favorite LuLu sweats.  I did purchase a cute sweatsuit combo from Anthro that I have worn several times.

Any good books, podcasts, or shows?

I am currently reading The Gift of Forgiveness by Katherine Schwarzeneggar Pratt. It is a MUST read and so moving! And I am obsessed with anything HGTV, and also Making the Cut on Prime!

What are some of your favorite quarantine activities?

We thrive on schedules at my house, and we have definitely found our groove over here. Aside from school in the morning, we have found ourselves enjoying our pool, bike rides, pick-up basketball games, and “chalking our walk” for the passer-byers!
