Classic, timeless, feminine…. Pearls have of course been a constant on the jewelry scene for generations. And when it comes to the fashion industry, we have seen them come and go as a trend throughout the decades. Well, like so many other trends, pearls are back, and in a very big way! Let’s look at our next spring trend update: pearl embellishment!

Embellished clothing and accessories have been hot for a couple of years now. But, we are seeing most of the embellishment this season via pearls. Whether you want to go bold or understated, there are many ways to make a nod to this trend. Clothes, bags, accessories, and shoes…. There are SO many pretty pieces to choose from right now. Our favorite pearl embellished items have got to be the shoes. There are so many pretty shoes to choose from going into spring and summer! You can go all out with a shoe like the pearl adorned clear sandals or gold bead and pearl embellished mule slides. For a more dainty/ladylike look a more subtle shoe like the ankle wrap heeled sandals work nicely… To wear just a subtle nod to the trend with these suede block heel mules. Or, you can do one of each. After all, a girl can never have too many shoes, right?!

We are loving all of the pearl embellished bags…. A pearl embellished bag is such a fun way to add a feminine, classic vibe to your look for spring or summer. And the mixed media we are seeing on these bags… LOVE the wicker, the additional beading, the straw, the ribbon…. All of it!
