Last week, we shared our Summer Travel Capsule Collection here on the blog. Since then, we have been working on styling some complete looks to share with you. We are breaking the looks up into two parts. And today we are excited to share our Summer Travel Capsule Styled Looks – Part 1 with you guys! Stay tuned for Part 2 next week. As always, to view the entire collection of looks over the coming weeks, be sure to follow us on Like To Know It!
This capsule turned out so beautifully. We knew we wanted a neutral capsule with extremely versatile pieces so that when you travel, you can create as many variations with the pieces as possible. The collection of looks we created from our first grouping of pieces is just the tip of the iceberg! We also wanted to choose pieces for this capsule that you can use as just an example as you are packing for your upcoming trips this summer… With the hopes that you have some similar items in your closet already. Or maybe give you a few ideas of things to add in to your existing wardrobe. Ok gang, let’s talk about some of the key pieces in this capsule and how to style them…
Styled Looks From Our Summer Travel Capsule Collection – Part 1
A good camisole – with high quality fabric and good coverage – is a wonderful piece to add versatility to your travel wardrobe. It can be worn alone or layered under other pieces depending on your mood, the weather, and your needs for your busy day of sightseeing.
The Button-Up Shirt
Crisp, clean, and cool… A white button-up shirt is a must. We chose a short sleeve version for this travel capsule. You can wear it with shorts, skirts, jeans, pants… And even over a dress ! We love this particular blouse because its material won’t wrinkle too much, and its silhouette works tucked in, untucked, or tied at the waist.
The Short Sleeve Blouse
This silk short sleeve blouse from our Spring Capsule was so popular that we decided to carry it forward into this one as well! It is perfect for travel, as it can be dressed down with shorts or up with pants or a skirt for dinner out. We also love this top tied at the waist over a black midi dress for a sophisticated all black look for evening!

The Striped Button-Up Shirt
This striped button-up shirt adds fun color and pattern to your travel wardrobe. We love a button-up shirt paired with casual shorts… With white jeans…. Tied at the waist with a skirt…. And of course with fun pants…. SO many options for a piece like this!
The Shirt Dress
A shirt dress is cool and comfortable for long days of travel. And is versatile as well! Dress it down with sneakers or casual sandals, or pair it with your dressy sandals for dinner out. A note on the sandals in this capsule. We chose each of these sandals because they are not only pretty, but extremely comfortable for long days of walking!
