Swim Cover Ups…Under $50
There are so many fun directions you can go in when it comes to swim cover ups! Of course, we love the more “traditional” concepts, like a sarong or dress. But we also love thinking outside the box, so to speak, when it comes to our swim cover ups! Read on for some of our favorite pieces that we like to use as cover ups.

Number Seven – You can’t go wrong with a romper as a swim cover up. Cool, comfy, and easy to slip on and off as you transition from the pool to the beach and back again. Once again, Target for the win! Love this knit romper by Wild Fable that retails for $25. Bonus: wear this piece with some fun sandals and accessories, and you are effortlessly put together for errands, BBQs, lunch out, etc.
Number Six – Love this gauzy sarong from Amazon. Several of our stylists own this and love it! It comes in lots of fun colors and prints, but of course, it’s always good to have a classic black option that goes with every suit. But honestly, at this price point ($13.99), why not have more than one?!
Number Five – Our clients love this dress from Amazon. It comes in two different tank styles, as well as a short ruffle sleeve version too! It is made of a gauzy material, and is oh so cute, which means it also doubles as a cute dress AND cover up! This fun, throw on dress retails for $25.99.
Number Four – This pair of shortalls from Aerie would be SO cute as a swim cover up! This fun piece is made of a cool gauzy material that dries quickly, has pockets and comes in three color ways – this fun cream and navy dot, leopard, and chambray! Remember, don’t be nervous to mix pattern on pattern here with your cover up and swimsuit! These shortalls retail for $39.95, but are currently on sale for $29.96.
Number Three – We are loving all of the beach pants we are seeing this year! Cool, comfortable, and oh so chic with your suit for every occasion, whether it be walking to the beach, enjoying cocktails waterside, or enjoying a BBQ around a friend’s pool. Aerie has several great options for this concept, but we are especially loving these lace beauties that come in navy and white. These beach joggers retail for $44.95, but are currently on sale for $26.97.
Number Two – As y’all know, we LOVE a good kimono for all the things. Don’t forget that you can enjoy your kimono as a swim cover up too! This is a fabulous look that works for all ages and body types. And Amazon is an absolute treasure trove for all things kimonos at great prices! This particular one retails for $18.99
Number One – A look that we are just obsessed with right now is the denim cutoffs as a cover up concept! Wearing your cutoffs with your swimsuit to a backyard BBQ is so perfect – you look “dressed” when you arrive and can take off your shirt and just wear your bathing suit and shorts while you watch the kids swim and enjoy a cocktail…. Perfect if you aren’t wanting to stand around in just your bathing suit! We are loving the Universal Threads line at Target – the price can’t be beat and they look much more expensive than they are! This particular pair retails for $15.
