Last week, our team hit up the Anthropologie store in Green Hills to do a try-on of their early fall merchandise. We were truly impressed with what we saw in the store… Which looked so pretty by the way (as per usual)! And, we found SO many great pieces to share with you guys! Here are the best early fall pieces at Anthropologie….

We love Anthropologie. It’s one of our favorite places to shop, both for ourselves, as well as for our clients. As we were developing our blog content calendar for the fall, we decided to put an Anthro try-on in the mix. Ever since then, we have been looking forward to heading to Green Hills as a team to have some fun.
As you know, our team has varying styles, preferences, and body types. But we are here to tell you you guys…. We ALL found things we loved. There really was something for everyone in store. In fact, once we were done with our meeting and took inventory of our pictures, we realized we would need to split The Best Early Fall Pieces At Anthropologie into several blog posts!
Today, we are going to start with our favorite pants and some fun dressier looks. Check back next week for two more posts covering fun fall tops and jackets.
The Best Early Fall Pants At Anthropologie
We found four styles of pants during our shopping trip to share with you guys. They each serve their own purpose in a fall closet! First up is this distressed pair of Mother jeans that Katie found. You guys know Katie loves her jeans, and especially distressed ones. This is a brand we continue to be SO impressed with – in fact, it’s probably Katie’s favorite brand of jeans to buy for herself! The wash on these is perfect for fall – and the distressing is just right for mature women :).

Next up is ANOTHER pair of Mother denim! In fact, this is the exact same style of jean as what Katie is wearing, but on SEB. We love the wash on this jean – it is a slightly dressier option and perfect if you are looking for a pair of non-distressed jeans for fall (which SEB was)! Note that even though Katie and SEB are the same height, SEB’s torso is longer, whereas Katie has longer legs. Because of that, SEB will need take her new jeans to be shortened slightly… The goal is to have this particular straight leg jean to hit right around the ankle bone.

We fell in love with these pin-tucked wideleg pants… Such a great option if you are looking for something a little dressier than denim. These pants are also available in petite and plus sizes and come in several other colors, including a gorgeous orange-red that would be so fun for fall!
We saw these coated joggers almost immediately upon walking into the store and had so much fun trying different tops on with them. They are absolutely fabulous! Note that these joggers are mid-rise… We wanted to point that out since so many of the pants right now are high waisted, and that does impact the type of top you can wear with them. These joggers also come in petite sizes, which is a total bonus!
Some Fun Dressy Pieces For Fall At Anthropologie
We can always~always~always count on Anthro for fantastic pieces for special occasions. Pieces that make a statement and that give a nod to that special moment you are celebrating. We found four fabulous pieces for you guys – two dresses and two skirts. The dresses of course speak for themselves – though they are spaghetti strap and thus give off a bit of a summer vibe, their colors say otherwise, making them perfect for transitioning into fall. Change your shoe up depending on what the occasion is. Both of these dresses lend themselves equally to a denim jacket and gold flat sandals, a dressy nude sandal, or a high heel strappy sandal for a fall wedding! Extended and petite sizing available in both of these dresses!

And these skirts. SIGH, they are SO dreamy…. Pair either of these with a solid colored form fitting top and let the skirt shine. A few additional notes on the faux leather side button maxi skirt…. An elevated flowy blouse absolutely also works well with this piece for an even dressier look (as shown in the photo). Faux leather side button maxi skirt (what we used to call wrap skirts!) are everywhere this fall. And we will certainly be seeing more and more of them as fall lines get released!

A Few More Fun Finds At Anthro
We loved this asymmetrical hem skirt that Katey tried on…. There are so many ways to wear this piece. Choose a bodysuit or form fitting tank on top, and then determine the dressiness of your look with your accessories! This one is perfect for running your errands, lunch with the girls, or date night! Extended, petite, and plus sizing available for this piece!
We also loved this utility dress. It seems to be very popular because the largest size in store was a size smaller than SEB would actually buy (one benefit of a size larger would be some added length). But we decided to try it on anyway for you guys because it’s so good! This is a fantastic piece for transitioning into fall. It’s a tank dress, which is great for the continued warmer temps in September, but the colorway is ~all fall~! Petite and plus sizing available for this dress as well!
