Tie-Dye Jumpsuit

Happy Wednesday gang! Who’s ready for some tie-dye in your life? I have to say, I’ve always had a little bit of a love for tie-dye. I guess that’s the bohemian side of my personal style coming out. When I saw that the iconic pattern was listed as one of the top trends for spring this year, I must say that I got a little giddy inside! I was excited to see how brands and designers would put their spin on the print. And…..I have not been disappointed.

Case in point…this tie-dye jumpsuit that I am wearing in the pictures above. The minute I saw this piece in one of our local department stores, I fell in love! I love the muted colors of the tie-dye print and the flowy fabric of the jumpsuit. When I first saw it, I actually thought it was a maxi dress. I didn’t try it on for a while, as I was afraid that I was going to be too short to pull off this incredible piece. But I got the nerve one day, and I went for it. My first try on was not a success. I didn’t have shoes on that had any height to them, so I didn’t love the look of the jumpsuit on me.

However, I wasn’t quite over the jumpsuit, so I decided to try it on one more time. The second time around I had some wedges on, so I was able to get a better feel of how I would actually wear it. I even brought a denim jacket in the dressing room with me to see if it would work to be worn multiple ways. The second time around was a success, and I ended up leaving the store with this beauty. I’ve loved wearing it just by itself, but I also love throwing my light colored denim jacket over it for cool nights. Still a fun look! I’d love to hear from you guys!
