We are lucky enough to have a beautiful botanical gardens to visit right in the heart of the city here in Nashville.  Cheekwood is a 55-acre botanical garden and art museum located on the historic Cheek estate.  It was converted into an art museum and botanical garden in 1960.  At Cheekwood, you can see world class exhibitions…  Tour a beautiful historic estate home…  And of course just admire the gorgeous gardens.  Every third Thursday evening of the month through October, Cheekwood does a special ticketed event called Thirsty Third Thursday.  You can walk through the gardens, enjoying craft cocktail stations throughout.  We thought it would be fun to give you guys some ideas of what to wear for Thirsty Third Thursday at Cheekwood!

 

 

What To Wear For Thirsty Third Thursday At Cheekwood

Whether you are actually attending Thirsty Thursday at Cheekwood…  (Beautiful early fall evening, cocktails, and a beautiful landscape  – what’s not to love?)  Or a similar weeknight outdoor event…  (There seem to be no shortage of these types of events coming up over the next couple of months!)  Admittedly, it can sometimes be tricky to figure out what to wear.  You don’t necessarily want to be as casual as you would at that venue during the day.  So you want to be put together and still relatively casual.  But you also want to be comfortable for walking around all evening.

Thinking about this particular event that is so loved here in Nashville got us thinking…  It might be helpful to you guys for us to put together a few dressy casual looks that would work for an event like this one.  We hope it gives you some style inspiration as you are planning out your fall social calendar!
