Summer/Fall Must Have: White Denim

Happy weekend everyone! Katie (Rushton) here! Sharing one of my favorites today….white denim!
White denim can often be tricky for some, and I completely understand. We see clients have problems finding the perfect white jeans often this time of year. Fit is key, especially when you are dealing with white anything. If the fit is off, it’s usually very evident. Another big part of finding the right pair is the material. Some white jeans are too see through and show any and everything that we ladies don’t want showing!
With that said, I am still such a big believer in white jeans, and think that they are such a great staple that everyone should have in their closet. I picked up this particular pair at our Belk Flagship Store in Cool Springs at the beginning of the summer, and they have been on constant rotation in my summer wardrobe. The high-waist rise keeps everything in check for this momma, and the distressing has stayed in tack (which I love)!
The top from these images was one that I randomly grabbed at Target one day, and it’s also been a staple this summer. The fabric is so lightweight and breezy, and I’ve loved wearing this top with jeans and with shorts. This particular one (grey stripes) isn’t available anymore, but they now have it in a blue/white stripe. YAY!
This simple casual look is an everyday look for me. Having those go-to pieces that you love in your wardrobe make getting dressed each morning, and that’s always my goal both in my own wardrobe and when helping clients as we work through their wardrobe.
