The Importance of Getting Dressed
Goodness, the past week or two has been tough. And it seems it could be just the beginning of a long road as we try to navigate a new normal over the coming months. Emotions are all over the board and stress levels are the highest we have seen in a long time…. Each of us handles these situations differently, and that is OK. We are firm believers in “you do you.” It is so important now – and always – that each of us listens to our hearts and takes care of ourselves.
One thing we know is that simply getting dressed and putting ourselves together each day brings us comfort and a bit more confidence to tackle the minute by minute changes we are experiencing right now. So whether you are staying home with your kiddos, doing your best to be productive around the house (and believe us, we are finding this difficult right now too), taking conference calls from your home office, or heading into work per usual, consider taking a few extra minutes today to care for yourself by “getting dressed for your day.”
