Time to share more spring trends with you guys! Earlier in the week, we shared a spring trends post over on the blog, and today we are continuing that conversation and talking about color and patterns and what else we are seeing this year in spring 2020 trends!

The Pinstripe Trend
So many of us associate the pinstripe with professional attire, especially suits. And while a pinstripe suit is fabulous, you don’t have to dress in suits every day to enjoy this trend. As fashion is becoming more casual, we are seeing trends like this one incorporated across the board in shirts, shorts, and even denim!
Leave it to J. Crew to give us a fabulous option for denim with a pinstripe. Wear these with a crisp white button down… or how about a t-shirt in an ice cream tone (see below for more on ice cream tones!!)?
LOVE this pinstripe prairie top by Madewell. A ruffled yoke and playful trim pair with the classic pinstripe to create a sweet, feminine vibe. Pair it with your white, black, or blue denim…. Think outside the box and wear this top with your favorite denim shorts and a cute pair of mules or sneakers.
Wear this Michael Stars pinstripe linen blazer with your white, black, or blue denim, or even with shorts. Go monochromatic on top with a white t-shirt or cami, or add a pop of color (again, think about those ice cream tones we talk about below)…. Either way, this blazer is a fabulous, more casual take on a dressy classic.
A shirtdress is comfortable and versatile. Wear it with sneakers, wedges, or heels, depending on the occasion. Love the color block stripe down the side offsetting the subtle chambray pinstripe in this dress!
The Ice Cream Tone Trend
Raspberry, tangerine, coral, lime, lemony yellow… You get the drift! The ice cream tone trend is HUGE this spring. The colors are so cheerful and pleasing – we can’t get enough of them!
This tweed jacket in coral is so classically beautiful. Wear it with slacks and a blouse to work or with jeans and a t-shirt to lunch – either way, it is a showstopper for the spring season!
This silk strapless jumpsuit is stunning. Admittedly, it is pricey… But we don’t mind investing in versatile statement pieces like this one. Dress it up with heels or pair it with sandals and a jean jacket. This is one you will reach for over and over!
Love this happy midi skirt in lime green! Pair it with a crisp white button down for a polished look, or a white t-shirt for a more casual day in the sun.
If you aren’t big into bright colors, a great way to incorporate this trend is with a subtle pop of color (like this fun cami) layered underneath a jacket or sweater. And if you love color, then let this fabulous tie dye cami speak for itself with your favorite denim, skirt, or shorts!
The Black and White Trend
Nothing quite makes a statement like black and white, and although it doesn’t seem like a spring go-to, this color combo is big in 2020 trends. This concept has been around over the years, and there is a reason for it! Classic, bold, understated…. The ways to wear black and white are endless. Of course, you cannot go wrong with your white denim, black top, and either statement belt or shoes for spring! But we thought we would share some fun, dramatic pieces we have seen out there for some fresh ideas.
