The Best White Jeans

White jeans are one of our most favorite pieces for this time of year! They look so crisp and summery and go with any top – brightly colored, tone on tone, pastel, fun patterns…. That said, there are some considerations when buying your white jeans. You don’t necessarily need to spend a fortune, but when searching for the best white jeans you DO need to make sure the jean is high quality.

We love a good designer jean just as much as the next gal, but we must say, Madewell and J. Crew make some of our most favorite jeans on the market. We legitimately love the quality and fit of their pieces, and their prices simply cannot be beat! When choosing your white denim, make sure the denim isn’t transparent (read: we don’t want to see the pocket lining of the jean) and doesn’t pull in the wrong places (going for a jean with minimal stretch in the fabric helps with this). These things are not only related to the quality of the material, but also to the way the jeans fit your body specifically, so it is very important to try on the jeans in several different lights and make note of these things before deciding to purchase.

J. Crew Favorites

These three jean cuts at J. Crew are absolute staples for us year round. They come in every wash you can imagine! Note that we are highlighting the 9” rise…. This is probably our favorite rise for most clients, but that said, we do also pull the 8” and 10” sometimes. It just depends on our client’s body type, torso length, and style preferences, so we wanted to mention it in case you prefer a different rise. Note that the toothpick line also comes in a curvy fit, which is great for those of us that have more of a pear shape!
