Beach Vacation Capsule Styled Looks
Last week, we released our Beach Vacation Capsule Collection. The more we work with this capsule, the more we absolutely adore it. Maybe it’s because we are getting a small taste of warm weather and sunshine this week in Nashville. Or maybe it’s because we are anxiously awaiting our first beach trip of the season. The Swimsuit
It can be challenging to find a good swimsuit (more on this later)…. If in doubt, look at JCrew. Their suits are pretty, flattering, and high quality. They sell bathing suits in long torso sizes, which is great for those of us that have long torsos and thus struggle to buy one piece swimsuits. We love this suit because it can be worn strapless to achieve a beautiful tan sans tan lines. But, it also has a strap you can add to be active on the beach and not worry about losing your suit.

The Midi Dress
You know we love midi dresses. In fact, we have spent a lot of time talking about how to style them in recent months! Because they can be worn so many different ways, they are one of the more versatile pieces to have in your closet. In fact, both our fall and winter capsules contained a variation on one as well. That said, we like this particular one for our beach vacation capsule. Because it is scoopneck, you can layer many of the tops in the capsule over it. Tie the top at the waist to create a top and skirt polished look. It will also look great with a cropped sweatshirt or denim jacket layered over it!

The Matching Set
When we saw this matching top and pant set, we fell in love with everything about it… The pleated detailing, the cut of the pants, the shape of the top, and the gorgeous vibrant pink colorway… There is so much you can do with these pieces, whether worn as a set or split up and paired with other items in your closet… Endless fun possibilities!

The Patterned Sweatshirt
It can be cool in the evenings at the beach, so every beach vacation needs a fun sweatshirt in it. There are so many fun ways to wear this piece. Wear it casually with a swimsuit for an evening walk on the beach, or over a midi dress with fun heeled sandals for dinner by the water…. And everything in between!

The Shorts
This piece isn’t as glamorous as some of the other pieces, but important nonetheless. Finding a good pair of shorts seems difficult these days, are we right? We all desire shorts that are not too short, but not too long either… Shorts that cover all the things that need to be covered, while still showing some appropriate leg. And these shorts fit the bill! As you can see throughout this blog post, they are central to the capsule! From the beach, to an afternoon ice cream stop, to a fun dinner on the water, there are countless ways to style these shorts.
