Nashville Stylists Talk Casual Jackets For Fall
Jackets… It’s no secret how we feel about them. Blazer, moto, leather, bomber, utility, rain… We love them all! When we did our try-on at Anthropologie the other week, we found SO many good ones in store. Today on the blog, our Nashville stylists talk casual jackets for fall!
Nashville Stylists Talk Casual Jackets For Fall
We found a really good sampling of jackets at Anthropologie in store, which of course we were thrilled about… A really fabulous utility jacket, several blazers – both solid and patterned, and a hidden zipper lightweight jacket. Let’s take a closer look at those pieces as our Nashville stylists talk casual fall jackets from Anthro!
A Versatile Utility Jacket
You guys know how much we love a utility jacket for fall (and honestly for spring too). It’s a great style that is flattering on everyone, and usually they are relatively lightweight, which is perfect for this time of year. Most often, we recommend our clients purchase a utility jacket in olive green – one of our favorite fall “neutrals”. Each year, we see slight style changes to the concept of the utility jacket. We are loving this updated take on one of our favorite staples!
A Fun Lightweight Jacket For Fall
Katie found this fabulous lightweight hidden zipper jacket in black almost right when we walked in the store, and we all knew she needed to try it on. This piece is FANTASTIC guys! SO many ways to wear this one. And we want to take a moment to talk about the jeans Katie is wearing here. You guys have heard us talk about Mother denim over the past year or so. This particular style by Mother has become one of our favorites. We were so excited to see it in store at Anthro when we were there! If you are still trying to get used to the idea of wearing distressed denim, this pair is a great starting point. It has just the right amount of distressing – not too much, but also not too little!

Solid Colored Blazers We Loved
This knit blazer by Sanctuary is in a beautiful cream colorway. We love the idea of a knit blazer for fall… A knit blazer tends to give off a more laid back and less dressy vibe than some other styles. And the added bonus is a knit blazer is so soft and comfortable. The material has a little more give, so it’s a great way to wear a blazer but have more range of motion during your day! This blazer does come in extended sizes.
And a word on the jeans Katey is wearing here. This pair of jeans is by Paige… And a pair every single one of our team members purchased at the Nordstrom sale in Chicago. We were so excited to see these in store at Anthro as well!
We love a good faux leather blazer for fall and winter. This one that Katie found is a bit different than your typical faux leather blazer. It is more of a coated leather, so it has a different vibe than some of the other faux leather blazers we love, which sometimes have a slight shine to them. We also loved the silhouette of this piece… And its vibe is classic and edgy all at once, which is always fun. This piece is extremely versatile. It can be worn casually with jeans, a tank, and mules… Or with slacks, button-up shirt, and pumps for work… Or with a silky cami, black jeans, and heels for date night!

Pretty Patterned Blazers For Fall
We loved the soft plaid colorway of this piece. It caught our eye from across the store! Guys, note that this one runs pretty large, as it is a boyfriend style double breasted blazer. We recommend sizing down one or possibly even two sizes if you are already between sizes to begin with. And petite sizing is available for this piece!
We loved this collegiate knit blazer as well! This one comes in extended sizes, as well as petite and plus!
