Dressing for Game Day

We have been loving watching the Titans in their preseason games the past couple of weeks, and our favorite college teams are gearing up for their first games here this week. That means it is officially football season! We get so many questions from clients and followers about how to dress for game day. Whether you are tailgating or brunching with friends before the game, watching the pomp and circumstance as the band marches into the stadium, going to a fun dinner after game day festivities, or a combination thereof, dressing for game day can be tricky. It usually involves a variety of activities, plenty of walking, and crowded venues.

You can’t go wrong with a cute dress. It’s the perfect way to dress up a bit, but still be super comfortable for a long day of football! As football season progresses, the afternoons can start out hot but turn into cooler evenings. I love to tie a denim jacket around my waist to have on hand as the sun goes down.
