Over the past few years, we have talked a lot with you guys about how the old adage of “no white after Labor Day” is just that – old and basically obsolete. This is something that has taken many of us time to accept and even embrace. And some of our followers are still working on that, and that’s OK! In today’s blog post, we are sharing lots of white denim inspo for you. So whether you have been wearing your white jeans year round for years, or you are just now accepting that this trend is here to stay, keep reading for some looks on how to wear white jeans in winter.
How to Wear White Jeans in Winter
First things first, one of our favorite concepts for white jeans in the winter is a monochromatic look. There are several ways to create this concept. All white or ivory with a soft bit of color is so nice. Think taupe, grey, or blush. A duster cardigan, jacket, coat, or scarf – any of those pieces would work. Love how Katie is wearing this look here! An all white base layer paired with a taupe jacket and neutral sneakers.
Hue on Hue Looks
Another way to incorporate your white denim in the winter is to pair your favorite white jeans with a hue on hue concept on the top…. We especially love this look with taupes, greys, and pastels like blush and powder blue. Here are a couple of looks to give you guys an idea of how to create this concept!
Rich Color Tones
We absolutely love pairing rich color tones with white jeans in the winter. Focus on rich mustards, browns, rusts, greens, and purples…. Even deep blues work great! Steer clear of summery hues like neons, bright pinks and yellows, and royal blues. We love how Jenny pairs this delicious brown ruffle sweater with her white denim and snakeskin booties!
One of our favorite color combinations with white jeans is a rich camel top layer paired with a black top and shoes!

A fun tweak on this look would be to swap out the black shirt for a chambray shirt. You can even keep the black shoes and belt! So fabulous!

Another fun color family to pair with white denim in the winter is green – think evergreen and olive hues.
Fern Long Sweater-Blazer (Regular & Plus Size) | High-Rise Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans (Comes in Extended Sizes) | Stripe Crewneck Tee (Regular & Plus Size) | Olive Faux Shearling Travel Cardigan | High-Rise Stretch Straight Leg Jeans (Plus Size) | Black Skinny Belt (Regular & Plus Size) | Olive Drape Front Cardigan (Plus Size) | Black Leather Bootie
Out of the Box Looks
We love a good tweed blazer and white denim for an out-of-the-box winter look! Houndstooth or any plaid blazer would work great too. Of course, a pretty camel sweater would be great here. But for an edgier look, consider a graphic tee under the blazer.
Wool Blend Tweed Blazer | Similar Tweed Blazer | Slim Boyfriend Jean (Regular, Petite, Plus Size & Tall) | Graphic Tee (Comes in Extended Sizes) | Tan Nubuck High Top Sneakers | Natural Leather Bootie
Shackets are everywhere this year… Now, admittedly, our stylists are divided on this whole concept. Some of us love it, while others aren’t huge fans. But how fun is this shacket with some white denim for a warm and cozy winter look?
