Today we are talking New Year’s Eve looks. And what better images to tie this post back too! We are loving Katie Rushton’s stunning all black look from earlier in the holiday season! An all black New party look is sophisticated and timeless. We love how Katie mixed textures with this look by pairing one of her go-to black sweaters with a faux leather skirt (this one that she’s wearing is our favorite one out there right now). On to another one of our all-time favorite monochromatic color ways – winter white. There is something so pleasing and sophisticated about a winter white monochromatic look! We recommend everyone try it at some point soon. We know that it can be tricky, so we are excited to show you two monochromatic New Year’s Eve looks to get your creative juices flowing. The key is to keep it simple, not overthink it, and not get too “matchy matchy”… Mixing different hue variations of the same color family adds dimension and interest!
For your dressy casual New Years Eve party, pull out your favorite white denim – yes, you heard us, white denim in late December! Add in a silky blouse in white, cream, silver, or blush pink – bonus points for some sparkle for New Years Eve. We love this short sleeve silky blouse with a subtle sequin pattern. Half tuck your blouse to show off a bit of your favorite neutral belt like this gold stretch belt with a fun buckle (added bonus about a gold belt is it goes with everything year round!).
