Spring Blazer

Hey gang! Katie (Rushton) here. Spring is finally approaching….right!?! Someone please tell me it is! Either way, that’s the direction I’m moving towards! I’m so ready for lighter and brighter color palettes and cool knits and breezy fabrics. Who’s with me?

Since the weather isn’t fully cooperating just yet, fun jackets and layers are a must have in ones closet. I love neutral jackets that can easily be thrown over basic tees or fun tops, and this ponte knit spring blazer from Bailey / 44 has quickly become a go-to for this gals casual, running around days! It’s such a fun piece! The faux layered look of this jacket gives the illusion that I really worked hard on my layering when in all actuality, I just threw on this two-in-one jacket over my basic tee and walked out the door.

The midnight blue color of this beauty works well for me, as I love wearing navy and white on a semi-regular basis as the spring months approach. However, I do also really love the fog color. Pair with white jeans and a cute sneaker, and you are ready to tackle the day’s errands. Change it up a bit by pairing with a metallic sandal for lunch with your girlfriends.
