Spring Capsule Wardrobe

As you all know, we began introducing seasonal capsule wardrobes in the fall of last year. And today, we are bringing you our Spring Capsule Wardrobe Collection for 2022!

What is a Capsule Wardrobe…

The term capsule wardrobe refers to a small collection of timeless clothing pieces. Pieces that are complementary in color and that work together to create countless looks for a season. Once a foundational capsule wardrobe is in place, you can layer in a few “trendier” clothing pieces and accessories to keep your look current, if you so choose.

A capsule wardrobe varies depending on your lifestyle. But regardless of what that looks like, the capsule’s purpose is to see you through your varying activities in a typical week…. Whether that be work meetings, running errands, lunch with friends, sitting at the ball field, date night, or anything in between.

A capsule wardrobe is designed to be a minimum number of pieces that create countless looks. Where possible, these pieces carry you through the changing seasons. For example, we utilize a high quality white tee and button-up shirt year round. Because of that, we will have both high and low pieces in any given capsule. Capsule pieces in general are pieces that justify an investment, because they are worn throughout the year in so many different ways. That said, it isn’t always necessary to spend a lot of money to secure a high quality, versatile piece. And so, we are always very intentional when choosing our capsule items! If it isn’t necessary to spend a pretty penny on a piece, then don’t do it! But other times, it just makes sense!

Spring Capsule Collection

With that, let us introduce you to our Spring Capsule Wardrobe. This capsule came together so nicely. To round this one out, we carried several items forward from our winter and beach vacation capsules. There are a handful of investment pieces in this capsule, which is a relatively small amount for the overall size of it. And goodness do we love the colors and the prints in this capsule…. We are SO ready for spring. Bring on the longer days, sunshine, and warm breezes!
