We are seeing faux leather shorts EVERYWHERE! In fact, several of us on the Effortless Style team have already boarded the faux leather shorts train…. And we are LOVING it! We thought we would ask each stylist to put together a look for faux leather shorts to give you guys some inspiration in case you too are looking to jump on board!
Styling Faux Leather Shorts
This early fall look from our stylist Katie Rushton is pure perfection. From the soft brown hue of the shorts, to the cable knit sweater offset by the block heel sandals…. So gorgeous. For a more casual everyday look, simply switch out the heels for a fun flat!
One of the things we look most forward to about fall is pulling out our fun jackets, right ladies?!! We love the concept of pairing this olive green infantry jacket with black faux leather shorts for a put together yet edgy look. Our stylist Katey Preston put together this look, and she mentioned that if you are looking to update your jacket collection this fall, please consider this gorgeous one from Able. Not only do we always recommend that our clients have an olive green jacket for fall and spring, but goodness do we love the lines on this particular one. Accessorize with simple jewelry and a fun patterned flat like these calf hair mules that are AMAZING!
Winter white faux leather shorts – YES PLEASE! Such a fun take on the trend. Love this classic look from our stylist Jenny Grubb featuring soft fall hues. The ruffle tank top is so feminine and pretty, and how fabulous are the heeled boots? Add a bit of edge with leopard stud earrings! If you are chilly, throw on a cropped denim jacket to finish off the look.
We have spent some time talking about blazers and shorts this fall for sure…. And this emerald green blazer paired with chestnut faux leather shorts is a showstopper. Wear the blazer open with a black silk cami tucked in to cinch in the waist. Add a long necklace, simple yet chic earrings, and a great bootie or block heel. A note on these booties – they are an investment, but perfect for pairing with your less expensive, trendy items to take them over-the-top!
