Let’s face it. Some of us have had a few kids, have added an extra pound (or ten) and have entered a new decade. We still think we look pretty good, but just not as good as we did a few years ago. We all of a sudden carry weight just a touch differently than we used to, and we can no longer eat a cheeseburger and 2 slices of pizza on the weekend without exercising. Enter beach season. All of a sudden it’s beach season and we’re forty-something years old. But guess what? There are still ways we can look good. We just need to recognize our strengths……and our weaknesses….and work with them. We need to shop for our body (and age for those of you who are still rocking a size 2). And don’t be afraid to spend some money on a good swimsuit – it will last you a good two seasons. Suits from Target and Old Navy are cute, but let’s be real – they are for twenty-somethings.
This suit’s elegant draping hides imperfections, and with an underwire bra it provides lift and supports. Win, win! It’s in my Nordstrom’s shopping cart already and a must for my daily pool routine with my littles!
These angled lines and mesh panels hide our middle section and highlight beautiful shoulder bones with the knockout asymmetrical look.
For the women who work hard for their flat stomach, check out the 50’s inspired high-waisted bikinis. I love them! They are so flattering for the right body type, and you can’t help but want to do the twist and sip lemonade when wearing this hip style.
Love the elongated look of a swimdress.

Miraclesuit is the true miracle of all suits. It hides what should be hidden and shows off what you’ve worked hard to show off. Ruching, spandex (when used correctly) and plunging v-necks are a 40 year old’s best friend!
