Summer Denim

Summer denim! Let’s talk about it today. Even though it gets pretty hot here in Tennessee in the summer months, a lot of us still wear jeans on a pretty regular basis (raises hand). Some women don’t love to wear shorts and/or they just choose not to for various reasons. Others prefer an in between bottom like a carpi pant. However, that length of pant typically isn’t very flattering on most women (probably a great topic for another day). And then there are just some of us (me included) who just love our jeans, and we choose to wear them year around.

Whatever the reason may be, I think we can all agree that summer denim is a thing! If I’m going to wear jeans in the summer, I want a certain style and a certain color to go with the season. Who’s with me? This pair that our Murfreesboro Stylist, Jenny, is wearing definitely fits the bill! The lighter wash is an absolutely yes, and the white tuxedo stripe down the side screams spring/summer to me.

I love how Jenny has paired this fun pair of jeans with a light hued solid color top! And then she totally shakes things up with a leopard print sandal! Another fun option with these jeans would be a great crisp white shirt. Such a fun, classic look, but that classic look can be edgy as well if you prefer to spice things up a bit. You can always follow Jenny’s ideas and pair the look with a great statement earring or a fun shoe. Oh….and….bonus on Jenny’s look.
