First on our summer wardrobe essentials list is a maxi dress. Each summer season, we recommend that our clients purchase a fresh maxi dress. This is such a versatile piece that is not only pretty on. It’s also comfortable and cool during hot weather. A maxi can be worn casually with flip flops. Dress it up a bit with sandals and some fun earrings, or go all out with wedges and statement jewelry.
In terms of packing for a trip, the maxi dress is a great way to get a lot of bang for your suitcase space buck! Bonus is a good maxi dress can double as a cover up for a lunch by the beach. If you are petite and want to keep your maxi dress longer for wearing with heels, you can tie it about halfway up your shin on the side to make it shorter for flat sandals.
