Sustainable Clothing...Yes, Please

Hi Guys! Katie (Rushton) here. Wanted to share a new brand with you all that I’m really loving right now. As a stylist, I’m always reading about and researching brands that we recommend to our clients. Whether it’s new lines coming out from some of our favorite brands or new brands popping up that we should be looking into and trying for our clients, I love diving in and learning as much as I possibly can about those things. Some of you may have already heard of the brand prAna, but if you haven’t, let me share just a little about this fabulous brand that I’ve recently come to know more about.

This brand popped up on my radar initially when I was searching for some good options for one of my clients that wanted to start wearing more clothing that was made with organic materials. I ran across their website in my search and found that prAna is a sustainable brand that prides themselves on using organic cottons and recycled fabrics in the clothing that they make. They have such a wonderful mission. I love that they are doing their part for our environment, while still producing incredible products.

prAna recently sent me a couple of items to try, so I could get a good grasp for the look and feel and quality of their products. I have to say, I’ve absolutely loved having both of these items in my closet recently. As the temps have drastically dropped here in the Nashville area, both the Crestland Pullover and the Diva Long Jacket have been in constant rotation.

I’m seriously in love with this Crestland Pullover. When I ordered this sweater, I wasn’t sure how’d I would like it. Sweaters with wool in them sometimes bother me. However, I’ve already worn this one a couple of times, and the wool hasn’t bothered me at all. Of course, that’s super exciting to me since I really like the look and feel of this sweater. This khaki rose color was what I was drawn to when I initially ordered this sweater, but I’m seriously debating also ordering it in the mud heather color as well now!

The Diva Long Jacket has been a great go-to piece to have in my closet. It’s such a lightweight jacket, but it’s one that still provides plenty of warmth on cold days. I’ve grabbed it running out the door on some of our cool fall mornings and have just thrown it on over a graphic tee for a warm layer. However, I’ve also worn it over some of my bulkier sweaters when it’s been quite a bit colder out.

See something you like? Want to check out some of prAna’s other great products? Use code WPKRF18 to receive a 15% off discount when you shop online at prAna! And bonus! Both of the items above are currently on sale! Now I may really go back and grab that Crestland Pullover in the other color!
