The Denim Jacket

A good denim jacket is a go-to closet staple for us, especially in the Spring and early Summer! A great combination of “casual” and “put together,” the denim jacket is the perfect layering piece for those warm days that start and end a bit chilly…. The beauty of this classic piece is that it goes with almost everything in your closet, so it’s an easy and convenient piece to have on hand day in and day out.

There are SO many takes on the denim jacket – we could talk for days about all of them! But at the minimum, we always recommend that our clients have a classic trucker denim jacket in their closet. So today we are going to share some of our absolute favorites with you guys! And check back later this week for some other favorites styles and denim jackets that are currently on trend!

The Denim Jacket – Original Trucker

When we think of quintessential American denim, we think Levi’s! We adore Levi’s take on the traditional trucker jacket. There are a handful of wash options in this style, but we happen to love the Jeanie and the plus size medium washes!

We love AG’s Robyn denim jacket as well. It’s so classic and tailored with a slimmer fit and gives a bit of a dressier vibe!

Kut From The Kloth has become one of our favorite denim choices over the years. And their take on the classic trucker jacket is fabulous. It comes in light and dark washes, as well as white!

Madewell makes a fabulous traditional trucker as well. We are showing it in their Pinter wash here, which is a great middle of the road traditional wash. They have a handful of wash choices if you prefer lighter or darker!
