What To Wear For July 4th
There is something so festive about July 4th… It’s a day we associate with tradition and family and friends. Watermelon, meat on the grill, sunshine, fireworks, gatherings with loved ones… So many things that make our hearts happy! And the July 4th holiday weekend is here, so today we thought we would share some ideas with you guys on what to wear for July 4th!
What To Wear For July 4th | A Pool Party
More often than not, July 4th weekend involves a trip to the pool… Whether for a lunchtime grill out, or a late afternoon cocktail into dinner! It can sometimes feel tricky as an adult woman to dress for something like this. We LOVE wearing a kimono and cutoffs over a swim suit with good coverage for this type of get together. This gives you the flexibility to remain dressed and look put together… To jump into the pool for a swim…. Or to cover up your swim suit in a stylish way. Wear the kimono and shorts with your swim suit for the complete look. Wear just the kimono over your swim suit for a sophisticated boho vibe. Or, wear cutoffs over your swim suit to create a tank and shorts look! We recently shared some creative cover-up ideas on Like To Know It. You can check those out here.
Kimono | Swim Suit {Extended Sizes} | White Denim Shorts | Waterproof Bangles | Straw Tote | Sandal
What To Wear For A July 4th BBQ
July 4th weekend inevitably entails a BBQ with family or friends. Typically, this happens after a busy day at the pool, out on the lake, or soaking in the sunshine on the beach. We love this Swiss dot white dress – it is so easy to throw on for a quick turnaround! And the great thing about white is that you can change the vibe of the look via your accessories. Add some pops of red and/or blue with your jewelry, bag, or shoes. But, don’t add color with every accessory. Pick one or two places to add that pop of color and keep the rest of your accessories neutral!

A Fun Look For Watching Fireworks
And of course, every July 4th ends in the best way possible – with fireworks! If you are watching fireworks this year, it is key to be comfortable and cool – but also cute! This dress by Tuckernuck has become a favorite of ours and our clients. We are loving the red and blue version for the 4th. And pull it out again next May for Memorial Day! Keep the rest of your look simple and neutral so this fabulous dress can do all the talking.
We hope you guys have a safe and FUN 4th of July this year! Enjoy every precious moment with your family and friends.
