The Best Early Fall Pieces At Madewell

As new seasons come, we like to choose a couple of retailers to feature for you guys… This is a great way to give you an idea of the new trends we are seeing for the season, as well as the trends that are sticking around. It’s also a great way to give some fresh ideas on pieces we have vetted, in case you are looking for some new pieces for your closet. That said, we were really excited about what we saw in store at Madewell last week while shopping for some clients… So we snagged a bunch of pieces to highlight for you guys! Let’s check out the best early fall pieces at Madewell.

Before we get started on the best early fall pieces at Madewell… We want you guys to know that we shot all of these photos in the 100 degree heat last week in Nashville. We are HERE for you hah!

Denim shorts are fabulous for transitioning into fall. They are a little cooler than jeans and can be paired with a variety of tops to achieve instant early fall style success. One of our favorite early fall looks is denim shorts and a sweater. Katie and SEB have paired these fun crossover waist Bermuda denim shorts with two different sweaters to give you guys a couple of ideas of how to do this. We get a lot of questions about the longer shorts we are seeing right now, particularly as it relates to petite or shorter body types. Katie is about 5’5″, and SEB is about 5’4″… As you can see, both pull off the longer short nicely!

Must Have Pants For Fall

We are seeing a lot of wide leg pants in fun colors for fall. We particularly love the Emmett style at Madewell. This silhouette comes in six different colors, and we have highlighted two of them for you guys below. Katie has paired the artichoke green colorway with a cropped button-up shirt that we are loving… And the chestnut brown colorway with a soft and comfy cropped muscle tank.
