Katie: The Closet Audit

Allison | 46 | Working Mom

Our Closet Audit service is often the best starting point when working with a personal stylist. It’s designed to help clients clear out their closet, leaving only the items they truly love and actually wear. For my recent client Allison, her wardrobe needs had shifted significantly over the years. She no longer worked in an office setting and instead now works from home full-time, with only the occasional business trip for meetings.

Together, we went through every piece of clothing (and shoes, handbags, and accessories) to determine what to keep, what to donate, and what might need tailoring. We cleared out the items that no longer fit, were outdated, or didn’t align with her current lifestyle. Along the way, we created a shopping list of versatile pieces to fill the gaps in her wardrobe—pieces that work seamlessly for her day-to-day life and the occasional work meeting. By the end, Allison had a closet that was refreshed, simplified, and tailored perfectly to her current chapter of life.

Katie: The Styling Session

Our Styling Session service is one of our clients’ favorites! Some book it once or twice a year to refresh their looks, while others add it on at the end of a package to tie everything together after a closet clean-out and personal shopping. During a Styling Session, our stylists step into a client’s closet to create outfits using their existing clothes, shoes, and accessories, helping them maximize what they already own. These sessions can focus on everyday looks, workwear, or even travel wardrobes.

For my recent client Heather, a busy CEO preparing for a fall break trip, time was tight, and packing felt overwhelming. That’s where we came in. She pulled out the pieces she wanted to bring, and together we created 13 versatile looks using a minimal number of items, ensuring she didn’t overpack. I photographed each look and uploaded them to her lookbook profile in our app, giving her an easy, stress-free way to decide what to wear each day of her trip.

Dana: Personal Shopping

Josh | Early 40’s

Josh was looking for a new wardrobe that was edgy and embraced his love for music, but could also keep up with his very stylish friends.  We had a call prior to our personal shopping appointment so that we could talk through some ideas. He admitted that he had a hard time thinking outside of the box, but was going to try to stay open minded throughout the process. I pre-pulled several different options for Josh that I thought captured the vibe he was going for. On the day of the appointment upon walking into the dressing room, Josh was hesitant to try on the looks. However after a little nudge, Josh started to trust the process and really leaned into it. He ended up leaving with several pieces that captured the exact feel he was going for. 

Dana: The Effortless Style Makeover Package

Amy | Early 50’s

Amy is a woman in her early 50s embarking on a new chapter in life. After a recent divorce and moving into a new home, Amy found herself in a new relationship and ready to revamp her wardrobe to reflect her evolving style. She wanted a look that was cool, modern, with a bit of edge and sexiness.

To kick off Amy’s transformation, we started with a thorough closet audit. We identified pieces that no longer fit her new lifestyle and highlighted the gaps in her wardrobe. Now that we had an idea as to what Amy could benefit from adding, we scheduled a personal shopping session. I pre-pulled looks that matched Amy’s desire for a cool, modern, and edgy vibe. On the day of the try-on, Amy was thrilled with the looks that were put together. Each look perfectly captured her new, confident style… And she left with a better understanding of how to dress her body going forward. 

Katie: The Retainer Package

Alan | 42 | President/Founder

Alan opted for our Effortless Style Client Retainer package. This is a 10-hour service designed for busy, high-profile individuals who need help managing their wardrobe without the time commitment. With this package, clients can use their time however they see fit… Whether it’s for closet audits, personal shopping, styling sessions, travel outfit planning, special event coordination, and more.

For Alan, the priority was upgrading his look for his expanding role at the company while also building a wardrobe that could support his frequent travel. We began by reviewing his closet, purging items that no longer worked, and creating a list of pieces he needed. After doing some personal shopping—placing orders and pulling items from a local store—we set up a fitting and found some great pieces to fill the gaps in his wardrobe.

Once we had Alan set for day-to-day and business travel, he had a branding photo shoot on the horizon. We pulled a selection of outfits for the shoot and joined him to ensure each look was picture-perfect. We’ve also assisted him with a custom tux for a prestigious award event, and he’s reached out to update his jeans for the season and upgrade his white button-down shirts. No matter the need, Alan can always count on us to be there with his retainer package.

Katey: Photo Shoots

Stacey & Steve | Parents To 3 Kids

Family photo shoots can be stressful enough worrying about the perfect lighting, weather, and background. Throw in everyone’s mood and cooperation level… And it’s a 9 on the stress scale. Allow the professionals to handle the outfits and take some of the load off of mom! I’ve helped many families over the years put together the perfect looks for all of the family members – choosing just the right combination of pattern, texture, layers, and colors.

I worked with a family this fall where the parents hadn’t been a part of the holiday card in years. It was stressful enough for the mom to get the kids situated… She had no energy left to get her look together. Not only did I encourage the parents to be in the photo, but I always START with the mama’s look and work everything else around her. She was thrilled to have me take care of choosing the looks and handling all of the ordering and returns. All she had to do was just say yes and try things on… And as a result, it was the easiest year yet for her… And her favorite photo! 

We also help assist clients with professional photo shoots! From shopping for the perfect look or styling it from their closet, to being on-site during the shoot to make sure everything is picture perfect… We cover it from start to finish!

Katey: Style Presentations

Talking fashion is what we know, and we do it so often we can almost do it in our sleep. I love presenting to groups – big or small – and talking about seasonal trends, capsule wardrobes, professional workwear looks, and dressing for your body type. So when a company in Chicago recently asked if I would travel and present to a room of 50+ meeting planners and hoteliers on business capsules and holiday looks, I couldn’t get on that plane fast enough. Over the years, I’ve presented to corporate groups, neighborhood women’s groups, mother/daughter service organizations, and church groups. It’s always a big hit!

Katie: Mother Of The Bride (Or Groom) Styling

Our Mother of the Bride personal shopping service is all about making life easier during one of the most exciting—but sometimes stressful—times in a family’s life. We understand that wedding planning can feel overwhelming. We aim to take the pressure of finding the perfect dress off our client’s plate. When we work with Mother of the Bride (or Groom) clients, we start by asking a few key questions… Is there a specific color or style they envision? What’s the preferred length and budget? Once we gather those details, we get to work sourcing potential options ahead of their fitting.

My recent client, Kelly, came to us feeling overwhelmed about finding a dress for her daughter’s fall wedding. While she liked the idea of a brown or deep green dress to complement her red hair, she wasn’t sure where to begin. Because her body had changed over the years, she was worried about finding something flattering. I started by sharing a curated selection of dresses for her to review, based on her preferences. Once we narrowed it down, I ordered her top picks and added a few similar styles from local stores.

For the fitting, I brought everything to her home so she could try the dresses on in a relaxed, comfortable environment. She narrowed it down to two or three favorites, but when she put on the one, it was clear. She absolutely glowed in it and felt confident and beautiful—exactly how a Mother of the Bride should feel. We completed the look with the perfect shoes and earrings. And just like that, she was ready to shine on her daughter’s big day.
