How to Style a Casual Jumpsuit

Each month, our stylists share their favorite pieces at Target with our members, a tradition that has become wildly popular. Last month, Katie shared this fabulous black jumpsuit as one of her picks with the group. It was so popular that we decided to have our stylists share how to style a casual jumpsuit with our members using this fun piece. As we transition seasons, we find ourselves frustrated, because we desperately want to put winter aside and start wearing our spring clothes, but the weather can still be quite chilly! Enter one of our non-negotiable closet staples – the denim jacket…. The answer to every girl’s spring clothes dilemma! Layer a denim jacket over your spring looks on those days you need a little extra warmth. A denim jacket would be so cute layered over this jumpsuit and a black cami. Add some cute sneakers and simple earrings, and you are casually fabulous this spring!

Y’all know I have loved the puff sleeve trend through and through and am happy to report it isn’t going anywhere yet! I am obsessed with this pleated puff sleeve top’s take on the trend and think it would be so cute under this jumpsuit. I also love the concept of wearing a fun sandal with this look! It gives a nod to late spring and summer as the days begin to get warmer. And of course, on cooler days, you can always swap the sandals out with your favorite pair of sneakers. Add a long pendant necklace that comes below the neck of the overalls and a fun crossbody (I have my eye on this particular one for the spring), and you are as comfortable as you are cute!

I love the idea of a tank top in a fun color under this jumpsuit. I absolutely love this tank top from Target. The lines are spot on. It is so well made and it comes in countless fabulous colors. Bonus…it is only $5 (yes, you heard that right). Add in some fun flip flops like this leopard print pair from Aerie, some statement earrings, and a fun straw tote, and you have yourself the cutest look for the hot summer days headed our way very soon!
