It’s always so exciting to usher a new season in – for SO many reasons! But at the top of our list is the excuse to freshen up that closet with some fun new pieces. Fall happens to be many of our clients’ favorite seasons to shop for. And that’s a good thing for sure, because we are seeing SO many fun pretties to choose from this Fall.
We have been getting a lot of positive feedback on our weekly ‘Style Picks’ over on Facebook – you guys love seeing what our stylists are eyeing at the moment, and we cannot blame you! So, we have decided to introduce a new monthly blog post featuring our stylists favorite things. For our first My {Current} Favorite Things post, Katey Preston is sharing several of the pieces she is currently eyeing…. Lucky us!

I’m finding myself reaching for my gold hoops almost every day, and as a result I’m looking to add some unique ones to my rotation. I love the fun twist on these!
Dolce Vita sneakers are some of my favorite go-tos for clients looking for a moderately priced fun sneaker. This one is the perfect neutral – but with just the right amount of funk.
A plaid blazer is a must this fall, and while there are several good ones out there this one is at the top of my list. I love that the hoodie zips out – it’s like getting two pieces in one as they are two very different looks!
I love to pair a denim shirt with black jeans in the fall…. And nothing really looks better paired under an olive jacket (another one of my Fall staples) than the perfect denim shirt. I love the feminine tuxedo pleats on this one to give a little interest. So many denim shirts can lean towards the western trend, and several can be unflattering with large pockets with flaps on the chest. This one skips all of those trends and is the perfect combo of classy and casual.
In the spirit of all things layered, I’m loving this twist on a popover. The collar and the angled pockets make it unique and fit the description of “stepped up casual” perfectly.
