Our Favorite Dress Pants
It’s been a minute since we all have had to do any sort of dressing up. So, as we are attempting to return back to normal life (or at least a new normal), we are all finding ourselves needing a little refresh on our dress clothes. Whether that be for work, special events, date night, or travel, we’ve got you covered.
Offices all over the country are re-opening now, and work travel is picking back up. That means many of our existing and new clients are contacting us needing help with their professional wardrobes. Most haven’t purchased a single new piece for work in over a year and a half, and it’s time for one reason or another to make an infusion of some new pieces.
Our Favorite Dress Pants
Today, we are sharing some of our favorite dress pants that we recommend to our clients with you guys. Like everything else right now, the dress pant supply chain is hurting in a big way. Keep in mind that most of these are staples carried year after year (with occasional tweaks and updates). Even though one of these pieces may show out of stock today, it might just be back tomorrow – or at least it will be at some point!
As you peruse these dress pants, take note that many of our favorite brands and retailers now carry a curvy version of many of their most popular dress pants. We love this, as it eliminates the problem of the gap in the back waist of a pant for many of our clients! Also keep in mind that many of these models are very tall, so the straight leg pants can sometimes look like ankle pants on their frames.
The Straight Pant
We love a good classic straight pant for work. Traditional and timeless, this style works best with a beautiful heel! Just a note here on side zip slacks and why we love them for our clients…. They are so incredibly flattering, as they lie flat across the tummy. They are also a touch dressier than front tab pants, so they can transition to evening events and even cocktail attire – so fabulous with a beautiful top and strappy sandals!
