Every closet needs a high quality white tank top. We love this double layered scoopneck tank from Boden. The cotton is thick and not see through at all – and it’s under $50! Because it is double layered, you can wear it alone with any bottom in the capsule, or you can layer it under the textured tee, denim jacket, and cardigan as well.

The V-Neck Tank
The Whisper line at Madewell is a go-to for us for summer. If you remember, we actually chose this same tank in a stripe for our Beach Vacation Capsule! Versatile, cool, and comfortable… A black v-neck tank is the perfect addition to a neutral capsule wardrobe for travel.

The Textured Tee
Because the capsule (by design) is very neutral, we wanted to add interest with different fabrics and textures. This openwork tee shirt is SO good! And even better in person. You can layer any neutral camisole or form fitting scoopneck tank underneath for appropriate coverage. We do recommend sizing up on this one, as it runs small.

The Long Sleeve Blouse
We fell in love with this silky popover, added it to our capsule, and then were thrilled to see it go on sale! It’s a win win! This blouse is SO beautiful in person – the photo doesn’t do it justice. Of course, you can dress this blouse up with wide leg pants or a skirt, but it is also SO fun with cutoffs and the olive shorts for an unexpected look.

The Midi Dress
We have talked at great length about this midi dress, as we first introduced it in the Beach Vacation Capsule Collection… Then carried it forward into our Spring Capsule Wardrobe. Now, here it is again! And for good reason. A midi dress is one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your closet (or suitcase). There are endless ways to wear it, casual to dressy!
