Holiday Weekend Look

This is what we like to call “the go-to holiday weekend look” here at Effortless Style. Summer holidays are the best! Am I right? Especially Memorial Day and Labor Day, as both provide us with an extended weekend. And both are usually packed full of lots of fun activities. Pool time, lake time, golf, baseball games, cookouts with friends and family…. We could go on and on.

We often have clients reach out to us around those holidays to help put together looks for events and/or travel plans that they have. A good summer dress is one of our number one recommendations, and this one that our Nashville Stylist Katey Preston is wearing is the perfect example. This fun dress is perfect for easy, breezy daytime activities with the kiddos. Throw it on with a pair of flip flops or flat sandals, and you are ready to go. If you need a layer for the plane ride or the cool air of a restaurant, a lightweight denim jacket is the perfect layering piece.

On the flip side, this dress can also easily be dressed up. Day to night? Um…absolutely! Katey’s look is spot on for a summer date night or a night out with the girls! The combination of the metallic wedges with her gold statement earrings and gold bracelet stack gives this fun dress that elevated touch for a dressier occasion.
